About Me

            Hello my name is John Banks Gurney and I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where I graduated from North Central High School and graduated Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate’s Degree In General Studies. I graduated online from Souther New Hampshire University with an Arts Bachelor Degree In Creative Writing And English. I am currently working for Canon Business Process Services in partnership with Barnes And Thornburg while currently writing reviews of classic or new movies and TV shows. Ever since I was a child, I have been told I have an amazing vocabulary and skills when it comes to writing. Besides of course writing journals and papers all throughout my school years, I would write the bi-annual family newsletter as well. But my passion for writing would fully present itself many years later when I got an interest in writing movie reviews a few years ago from watching many internet critics and watching movies in general. I got the idea of writing my movie reviews on my Facebook page where I have gotten much support from my friends and familyI have enjoyed it ever since. and now I want to take my writing to the next level with taking a shot at screenwriting. I have always had a passion for movies, TV shows, and video games ever since I was a kid and I want to use this site to show people what my favorite movies, TV shows, and video games are growing up. I will also be doing current reviews on movies, TV shows, and video games that have come out or will come out. In addition I will be making top ten lists of my favorite movies, TV shows, and video games as well and why they are my favorites. Finally, I will be making editorials on certain subjects in the entertainment genres and how they affect the current trend of entertainment everywhere.
